Some kid kept doing that yesterday (filming himself stage diving) and the crowd dropped him twice and then he ran up to Patrick to tell him that the crowd kept dropping him and Patrick called him a snitch lol

 

Stage dive behavior is getting atrocious. If you are filming yourself on stage and diving you deserve to be dropped. The show and energy is not about you. It’s about the band on stage and the overall community coming together. If you get on stage you need to know where you are jumping and just do it. It’s about respect. None of the standing on stage waving for people to catch you. They don’t owe you shit.

 

Pat legit had to stop mid set to explain to people how to stage dive at the Brockton show. Luckily the guy filming that video I shared was respectful and wasn't doing it the whole set, nor was he a nuisance to anyone else around him. Seemed like he knew what he was doing. People really just need to read the room before they do that type of stuff.

Patrick will spend a lot of time talking about stage dives, he definitely encourages it and holds the crowd responsible for catching people. He will even assign bigger people to hold everyone else up. but the phone-on-stage thing loses you all the sympathy you had

On the latest episode of Worst Possible Timeline it seemingly was accidentally implied that the Drug Church support tour is with Drain. Both of them and Gel are on this fest in June so it makes sense.

Pat says on the latest A2G that Drug Church are already planning their September 2024 new album tour

"looks like we will be doing multiple days at small venues to avoid barriers"

Per latest A2G, they have finished recording the new album. Pat says the band was aiming for another Cheer, but he feels its more like Hygiene. Also says there are more songs where he sings in the verse and yells the chorus (as opposed to the standard yell verse, sing chorus). September tour still in the works. Also reveals a member of the band has a Alien Ant Farm tattoo lol.
