I am pretty sure amendment 3 will pass with over 60%. Weed is a non-partisan issue here. Tons of working class conservatives in Florida get stoned, even tons of retired conservative boomers in Florida get stoned. Plus Florida has has libertarian bent now. Not worried about that.

Though I am worried about amendment 4. It'll be close, it might get over 50%, I just don't see it crossing the line to get over 60% to pass unfortunately.

 

Biden did not shit his pants on stage and at some points formed actual sentences. He is completely fit to be president.

The only good thing about the press conference was that Biden sounded slightly more like a guy who could be convinced to step down if enough pressure was put on him. Definitely more than he did in his interview with ABC

I don't think his comment about the delegates is getting enough attention. He said his delegates are free to vote for whoever they want at the convention and if they decided they want someone else then "that's the democratic process". Doesn't that seem like kind of a significant thing for him to say?

That is Biden's M.O. During 2020 any bit of even soft criticism he got from a member of the public on the campaign trail he would just say " go vote for the other guy then" and walk away.

Well in the ABC interview he said the only way he would not run is if God told him to. In this he said he would if the polls showed he couldn't win (granted he did follow up by whispering into the mic that they don't show that), but to me his wording about staying in/dropping out was definitely less firm than it was in the ABC interview.

 

I know I'm gonna sound super cynical but I have no idea how you can take Joe Biden or almost any other politician at face value
