Every old person I have known, even narcissists, have been acutely aware of their old age and limitations. This is mind boggling honestly.

I just want to tell you that the inside of your room smells better than dog shit is not a ringing endorsement.

The arguments of these people, my god. Critical thinking has tanked.

Just now reading the 2024 Florida amendment ballot measures for election day. Florida requires ballot measure to get an over 60% supermajority to pass.

    • Amendment 1 : would change school board elections from non-partisan to partisan. Allowing people to run for school board as members of political parties. NO
    • Amendment 2 : Establishes a state constitutional right to hunt and fish. On the surface it seems harmless and vague, but opponents are saying it could be used as a slippery backdoor to stop regulations to protect wildlife. NO
    • Amendment 3: Would legalise the sale and possession of Cannabis for adults 21 and older. Personal possession limit of 3 ounces, and 5 grams for concentrate. Florida already has medical marijuana, this would allow established treatment centers to start selling to the general public when the law goes through. YES
    • Amendment 4: provide a state constitutional right to an abortion before fetal viability (24 weeks) ."No law shall prohibit, penalize, delay, or restrict abortion before viability or when necessary to protect the patient’s health, as determined by the patient’s healthcare provider. This amendment does not change the Legislature’s constitutional authority to require notification to a parent or guardian before a minor has an abortion". YES
    • Amendment 5: would provide an annual inflation adjustment to the $50,000 to $75,000 in homeowner property tax exemptions based on property value already in place. NO
    • Amendment 6: would repeal an existing state constitutional provision that provides public campaign financing to candidates running for state executive office that agree to spending limits. NO
