This rules. Huelll is a legend. Do people outside of California know about him?

 

No idea who that is

 

Basically, throughout my entire youth he had a show on PBS called California's Gold where he'd travel to various points of interest around the state and share information and talk to people. Just the most infectiously positive, genuinely curious and kindest soul you could meet.

 

I know him from memes pretty much like him talking about avocado to dogs or whatever

 

James Adomian used to do a great impression of him on Comedy Bang Bang before Huell passed. Essentially his game was everything he sees amazes him.

 

That Miami Vice thread is fascinating. It feels like the movie is finally getting the full recognition it deserves. Detractors focus on the plot, but the plot is almost secondary to the feeling.

Fingers crossed Alison Lohman, the lead in Drag Me Into Hell comes out of retirement for this film

Neighbors was great. The sequel is pretty good too, maybe not as good as the first but probably has my favorite gag between the two:

The look on Rogen’s face right after he says it and Byrne slapping him is played so naturally well, it never fails to make me laugh

 

Both movies are fun. They have great chemistry together. I recommend their show on Apple TV Platonic.
