they need to be swift and decisive about this because they can’t afford to divide the party into factions more than it already is. I think if Biden doesn’t drop out by the end of July the election is over regardless.

 

Against Trump, I think if a new candidate was named the day before the election they'd still have a chance. Of course, sooner the better to unite around someone. She was my least favorite candidate in the nomination process but I think it makes too much sense to go with Kamala and name a well spoken midwestern Democrat to the ticket.

I'm hoping it's soon, just for my damn anxiety. This wasn't supposed to start until late October.

 

Ehhhhh I think campaigning is still an extremely important part of the election which is why I simply think Joe can’t do this, and picking someone the day before the election means no campaigning which would be very very bad. I know it’s hyperbole but I really do think we’re doomed if this isn’t hashed out in a matter of weeks

 

All in all I hope it gets done asap. This is a nightmare. I can't believe we're realistically looking at a possible Trump presidency again.

Tomorrow I think Congress is back in town for the first time since this all went down, so probably some real actual discussions start tomorrow. Who knows what will prevail at this point
