It’s genuinely hilarious that the Bulls traded Caruso and Demar and the only first round pick involved in either of those deals is going to the Spurs because the Bulls refuse to pay the tax.

 

This is huge. They can actually pay him up to a max and then flip him plus picks later in the season for anyone who makes less. That dream would have been dead if they had renounced his rights.
