Exactly, especially given that they support all other gender affirming care. The administration's position on it follows the American Academy of Pediatrics position.

Does Joe actually seriously believe that Trump is a threat to democracy? Or does he just feel like his legacy is more important?

That poll dropped mid-call, tho. I'm still not convinced that he's the nominee.

The ABC interview is going to be the make or break for him. If it’s bad, I think the pressure to drop out will continue to rise and he’ll ultimately have to make that call.

if he does well, the pressure might simmer until next month or whenever the next time he has some major flub and by that time it’ll be too late for him to drop and he’ll just be fucked

He beat Trump! He got us through covid! His legacy is secure! Continuing to be president can literally only harm that!

My Joe Rogan loving friend once told me "you're such a liberal" and when I simply replied "No I am not a liberal", she looked so incredibly confused. " umm what? but you kind of are though.. "

I seriously can’t believe people are entertaining the idea the Democratic Party would pull Biden out because of a debate performance’s reception. Since when do they listen to the people? Like what?

Biden (briefly) ran in that election too. It feels like it's enough to just say Biden was 45 years old when he first ran for president . . . in 1988*!

*Technically he dropped out in '87, but still.

This is the kind of quote that comes four hours before a "I'm dropping out" message

It's not a debate performance, all he needed in that debate was to seem fit and able enough to silence concerns about his age. He didn't, so all those concerns, the very real policy criticisms, and the terrible polling are catching up to him. It's not just the debate, the debate gave him an incredibly low bar to clear to have some confidence going into the election and he failed to do even that.

The realization that AOC could run for president in 2072 and be a similar age to what Biden is now

Every day I hope for 45 to just have his fast food diet do what it does to so many, and instead, I get another day of the groundwork being laid down for him to blow up the free world in his image. Sucks.

I mean I absolutely think Biden ends up running but to pretend there isn’t a concern within the Democratic Party about not only the viability of Biden winning but his physical ability to campaign seems…foolish. It’s easy to be a doomer and pretend we’re all kidding ourselves about him not running but the inner party is clearly voicing their concerns and while there are certainly factions that want Biden to stay in office it’s clear the voices that don’t are growing by the number
