Trump going against a woman has to be his campaigns worst case scenario. He is absolutely going to be sexist and misogynistic within a week if she was the candidiate.

 

Harris often lands on the wrong side of the cringe/camp divide for me, but she’s got some gems.

A debate between her and Trump would have the potential to be such a delightfully unserious clash of the queens.

(Except the political realities would still be absolute indefensible garbage. But, national politics are currently hopeless to me regardless, so like…)

Regardless of how anybody feels about her or her politics, Kamala taking over the candidacy from the POTUS with a few months to go and then winning would have to be like one of the biggest election moments in American history of it happens. Like one of the ones PoliSci nerds 20 years from now will still not shut up about like '92

if Biden doesn’t drop out and somehow wins what kind of shape is he gonna be in 3 years into his second term

 

The way I figure it is if Biden wins he is 100% going to die in office or get 25th amendmented and Kamala becomes POTUS, if Trump wins then Kamala is almost guaranteed to be the Dem frontrunner against a unpopular incumbent Trump or Trump ally in 2028. We are likely getting Kamala as POTUS anyway, might as well get that shit over now while it is potentially useful in keeping Trump out.
