  1. Yeah, I get that. It's working for me but every time I throw the album on, I get tired of this sound like three or four tracks in lol. Then I listen to Randy Newman for a while and feel like throwing it back on, which is probably a sign that it's gonna stick with me, for better or worse

Maybe they’ll develop a more unique sound and voice with a taste of tik tok success

All their albums are good in their own way and you should definitely give them all a spin someday, but I feel like you have to listen to Paul's Boutique, Check Your Head, Ill Communication and Hello Nasty asap.

EDIT: My favorite actually is To the 5 Boroughs though, but I am a simple man.

Yachty now is the reason someone is introduced to the Beastie Boys. For the culture indeed.

I really don’t think so but let’s ask the man himself. @Jason Tate do you just hate Ronald McDonald because he’s been bad for music discourse or is there anything more to it?

  19. the beastie boys sound way more modern than you think tbh they kick ass

I’ve seen people ask for Yachty less versions of that and it usually makes me laugh

    I love their albums

idk why but it’s just fun music that takes in all the anime and video games references

like I feel like they aren’t taking themselves that series
