Tom DeLonge ep or AvA ep?

 

I'm pretty interested to hear the new EP. The clips sounded decent. Not great, but not shitty either. I'd like to hear if the rest of the songs are just as decent...

Blink should release the new single the day Tom drops his new EP/movie/book/whatever, haha.

 

That would be huge money right there.

 

AVA = Tom Delonge + Ilan jumped on the train like a week ago

I love how Tom is just watching Ilan play everything on this making-of for The Dream Walker:

 

I would pay to see a video of Tom getting frustrated with ilan and just firing him.

I still need to listen to the Dream Walker, but him not wanting to put it on Spotify destroys all incentive I have to hear it

 

I haven't liked almost anything Tom's done since WDNTW, but I actually liked a decent amount of Dream Walker. it felt like one cohesive album and Ilan's influence definitely helped.

haha yeah I listened to on Spotify it right after I watched that making of doc. Skimmed around the album and still couldn't get into anything besides Mercenaries.

listen to it. It's a solid 7/10 for most of it and then it fizzles out toward the end. Those last 3 songs are very bad imo.

 

Agree, the odd time i listen to the album I always switch it off after Bullets in The Wind.

Sweet. I haven't checked since it came out and he was talking about not allowing streaming for it

 

His solol album is on there as well.

 

It's not a great album but I'd say it's at least worth a listen.

 

I couldn't even make it through that solo "album". I found it a painful and irritating listen.

 

Also, it really bugged me relistening to The Wolfpack... I know I'm beating a dead horse but god damn, the melody in the verses is the same as Kaleidoscope.

 

I like "New World" from his solo album, it sounds more like a blink song than any of the songs that showed up on Neighbourhoods/Dogs Eating Dogs haha
