If you were Slovakia, you'd be going in hard at every opportunity, shots from distance to test him. Hopefully he's alright.

Is every single tackle a yellow? Has the ref got a bet on?

Fear that’s too early. Will probably become an attack vs defence training session second half. Do England have the attack to break down Slovakia? (lmao at even thinking that before the start of the tournament)

I was trying to describe myself to someone

We're not playing well at all, but this ref is karma for the English VARing last night. What an absolute turd.

England need to either have their midfielders showing more availability for the ball while playing out from the back or they need to push their entire front six way up the pitch and go long every time.

Reffing is pretty consistent from my perspective. Tight all around.

For 4 players that thrive on movement there’s a shocking lack of movement ahead of the midfield two.

What are those 4 supposed to be doing up there? Running in circles? I don’t get the vision.

Mainoo needs to learn how to impose himself on a game more consistently than he does. Understandable for an 18 year old to float in and out and go invisible at times, but he needs to know the more play moves through him the better things go.

I actually think Mainoo is the least deserving of criticism. Saka, Foden, Bellingham and Kane have lacked movement in front of him, they should know with their experience (compared to Mainoo anyways) they have to offer something in order for things to happen. No wonder Mainoo has taken two pot shots.

Mainoo has these games quite a bit, really. All part of learning the position. He drifts in and out of games. The United set up is a big part of that, but yeah he does need to improve his on pitch presence when things aren’t going extremely well

No I agree with you i’m just saying he should be taking things into his own hands. I’ve been saying the same about him with United, he’s good enough and the team plays better when he takes the game by the scruff of the neck.

in hindsight, feels obvious that too much ink was spilled hemming and hawing about who should be Rice’s partner when the issue is the front four

and Trippier but I might just be a Trippier hater
