Speaking of the conversation yesterday it looks like Yoshi-P is working on merging FFXIV and FFXI subscriptions, it's just a process apparently but is in the works

I don't wanna pay an additional sub just for FFXI but if it's already included I'll finally try it

 

I would love to try FF XI again

 

Back at Rebirth trying to finish and I’m in the middle of Watcher of the Vale. Goddamn this game is huge lol.

 

Got stuck on the final boss in Rebirth. Deeply frustrating final phase with an unskippable cut scene every time I die.

 

Back to finishing rebirth and I did the world expedition intel that pops up after the Gi section. They have too many mini games lol. Think I’m just going beeline through the rest of the story and only do side quests that seem necessary.

 

Yeah the last few boss fights are really badly tuned

 

Haven't played in a month or two.. Still at Cosmo Canyon, I think I'm gonna jump back in here soon.. I did that with Ghosts of Tsushima and Horizon Zero Dawn and a couple other story driven games.. I just take these long ass breaks, idk why.

 

The diabolic variant kept kicking my ass…I looked up a guide that said to use ice for all party members and it took like a minute tops :/

 

I would really like to yell at whoever thought this Cait Sith section was a good idea

 

Fuck this Cait Sith/Ying Yang battle

 

I switched to easy the last section of the game. I esp remember that one cait sith part you’re talking about

 

That part I remember changing it to easy when you have to fight two or three of those drone/robot(?) enemies by your self

 

Yeah I had to switch to easy. I tried at least 10 times and my best one only got like 25%

I see why people complained about the difficulty spike lol

I went down to easy to beat it and saved the gameplay video. This shit I had to do made it look like absolute nonsense

Getting close to the end. I went down to normal from dynamic. This Rude/Reno fight has some seemingly unfair mechanics to it but I’m going to give it one more go before I drop to easy

Is there no chocobo taming in the Corel area?

How are you not able to swap all the materia at once between party members? You could do that in 1997.

 

Kinda wanna get the switch version.
