Both teams had more yellows for arguments than fouls I think

 

I mean... its now or never for England. You could not have had things work out more favorably... Spain / Portugal / Germany / France / Belgium all on the other side with a weak Netherlands and Italy on their side and then teams that look unexpectedly great. So they get it together (and a big IF) who knows.

Georgia v Spain to be the highlight of this round.

 

I would really hate it if England pulls a Portugal 2016.

Obviously I wouldn't, because we don't win anything ever, so it would be great to actually experience success, but I worry Southgate would then stay and set us further back. Sooner he's gone, the sooner we can move on with someone who understands basic tactics.

 

Even if we won, surely after the way the general public seems to have turned on him alongside the fact that he's (allegedly) been planning his out for a while now, Southgate would still leave? At least if I was him, if I won I'd be leaving on a high and getting away from the stress of the job I think.
