someone else on the Internet said that apparently at some point during the episode that they play Kylo Ren's theme about 28 minutes in

An inconsequential shift as the continents drift.

man I was not expecting how brutal this episode was gonna get. how Yord went out especially was fucked up as hell, poor Charlie

Manny sold the hell out of this hell turn though. I mean we all saw it coming but he fucking killed it, that insane smile he did when he was hand-to-hand fighting with Sol was terrifying

It is remarkable how desperate people are to hate any piece of content that shows a female as competent lol

"How does it make sense for them to show Jecki practicing with sticks one scene, then doing full blown dual wielding battle in another." Is the complaint I've seen a bit and it's like...gah.

Padawan's are both students and soldiers for lack of a better term. It's like...a big portion of the question "are the Jedi kinda fucked up?" lol. Of course she still practices and of course she still takes classes but also they wouldn't bring her on very dangerous missions if she couldn't handle herself. Yord even said so himself.

    Anyway rant over.

Yeah I saw the "Jecki was overpowered for being just a padawan" takes too

My take on it was Qimir was basically "playing with his food" so to speak, until she exposed him, then he stopped playing around and immediately killed her.

Go watch the pre-game for any sporting event, and those fakers are practicing THERE, too.

update: after rewatching this scene, i think you may be right, especially if the concern was making something that's a practical effect instead of just CGI-ing the dagger blade on. i could see them taking the latter route if it was only used in that one scene and nowhere else in the show, but since i'm sure we're gonna see it again in future episodes, she probably wanted it to be a real blade.

Like someone else said, I am pretty sure he knows that isn't Mae. He's moved on and is going to try to corrupt Osha now.

Yea, I’m guessing he will fill her (and us) in on what happened the night of the fire to create drama/tension between her and Sol. Mae will probably try to kill Sol/just try to replace Osha to be free of everyone and go live a new life. Or maybe both even. But Basil will out her as an imposter.

I feel like the hype for this show would have been stronger and the Initial bad faith takes dampened if they included this episode in the pre-release screeners they gave to critics.

are the people complaining about a padawan being overpowered forgetting that Obi-Wan was a padawan and defeated Maul?

Sol's anger turned him into absolute beast-mode fighter

It seemed like Sol took a bit of a pause when Mae came to get him as Osha. Feel like he can sense something isn't right

I can't remember but did Pip die? Or did Bazil rescue him at the end? I hate when the droids get hurt or die

think Pip is currently in two pieces. might be repaired easily if Mae (disguised as Osha) has him on her person.

  22. Awesome episode. This is what I was hyped for when the show first started. Idk how much of the stunt work was done by the actors vs stunt doubles, but kudos to everyone involved. That was fun. Wonder if they try to top or match the action in this in the next 3 eps.

Next episode will probably be a breather/exposition heavy episode, I am guessing we will return to more action like this in the last 2.
