Post Malone - F-1 Trillion (August 16, 2024)

F-1 Trillion is the upcoming sixth studio album by American musician Post Malone. It is set to be released through Republic and Mercury Records on August 16, 2024.

The album features confirmed guest appearances from Morgan Wallen and Blake Shelton. Production was handled by Louis Bell, Charlie Handsome, and Hoskins. The album was preceded by the release of two singles, "I Had Some Help" and "Pour Me a Drink", which feature Wallen and Shelton, respectively.

It serves as the follow-up to Malone's previous album, Austin (2023).

 

Pour Me a Drink is light years ahead of the Morgan Wallen song.

 

Pour me a drink is country country. I’ve never been a country fan so I’m not a huge fan.

 

His hip hop-era felt insincere and manufactured…and these two new country songs somehow sound even more so. After I caught that Bonnaroo set last weekend I think I’ll never understand the appeal.

 

Dude likes to make all different types of music. You don’t like him and that’s okay. Maybe stop listening to him?

He's a genuine guy and I don't think anyone has ever considered him a "rapper"

 

He's become one of my favorite artists, so I'm interested, but country ain't my thing and the Wallen involvement is such a bummer.

 

Wallen song is, unfortunately, much better

 

Not a big country person, but I’ll check it out cause it’s Posty.

 

Subbing and I'll listen to it because I like his other work but modern/pop country music is literally grating to my ears so I don't have high hopes

 

Not feeling the country side. I checked out the new one and don’t care to check out the Morgan Wallen song.

I love Beerbongs & Bentleys, Twelve Carat Toothache, and Austin. I’ll check this out once the full album drops

 

All I'll say is fuck this dude for working with Morgan Wallen and be done with it. Imagine propping up an unrepentant racist like that in big 2024? No thanks.

He has teased some solo songs.

This one sounds like a future wedding classic.

Another beautiful ballad.

I also love this snippet (but this one is a feature).

 

Pretty much 3/3 on this so far. I’m into his country era, it turns out.

 

I haven't liked a full album from him since Hollywood's Bleeding but I'm curiously optimistic with this country album.

 

These songs are great, but at least for Wallen and Shelton, they'd be 100% better without them.

 

As someone from the UK who is not familiar with these featured artists, are they worth checking out? I like Luke Comb’s voice in particular.

 

Luke Combs sells out stadiums here and people generally seem to think of him as a good guy.

 

Yeah he seems to be a good dude, especially compared to other country bros. He's the one that did the cover of Fast Car then performed it live with Tracy Chapman, so he's at least okay in my book for getting her to get back on TV and perform that song.
