I've never listened to PTV, BUT the Dennys band is opening Dallas so I feel obligated to show up on time

 

been avoiding spoilers on here. Have actively stopped checking Reddit to avoid accidental spoilers. Decided to not watch blink’s Instagram live to avoid spoilers.

I effing open up twitter and the top suggested tweet is “Blink-182 debut a new song tonight”. What the actual eff, I can’t sleep now. Was it good? Does this mean we are getting a new album or OMT DLX sooner than we thought?

Was the setlist truly a “something completely different” set? How many OMT songs did they play? Truly hoping for Turpentine, MTYK, and Anthem 3.

 

WYHSB in the year of our lord, 2024?! Played with Tom?! Never thought I’d see this day.

 

Show was absolutely insane! New song is awesome. The medley was awesome. I need to go to bed. More thoughts later.

6 songs from OMT, no new ones.

New song is called “Can’t Go Back,” and it’s a ballad with mostly Mark singing. Sounded good. The song is only 3 weeks old and hasn’t even been mixed yet.

Travis supposedly told a fan at his meet and greet that it’s part of a deluxe edition “coming in the next few months,” but that can’t be verified.

The set was good. Mostly staples with a few curveballs, including a couple deeper cuts that haven’t been played live with Tom since 2013.

There was also a +44/BCR medley.

 

Figured we’d get a deluxe with bonus tracks this summer

 

New song feels like it could be on Neighborhoods or DED and I'm absolutely fucking down with that.

 

I never went to bed. The new song was not expected. This is the second time I’ve been in the crowd at a blink show for a live debut, and the first time for a song that hasn’t been released. The first one was when they played “San Diego” in Tampa for the live debut. They’re really at the top of their game and I cannot wait to see what the future holds. They’re having fun and it truly shows.

 

My biggest problem with all of it too. haha! In THIS economy?!

 

It's so weird to read this comment in 2024. I can't believe they changed it up so much, awesome!

 

Also, I just appreciate that this thread is back to being bumpin with conversation. I've missed this.

I still wish they played for even an extra 15 minutes or so to add in songs like Dumpweed, Josie, Anthem Part 2, Wendy Clear, and cut Down, but I'll happily take this setlist next month.

 

ETID would get back together before Mark added another 15 minutes

 

I can’t believe they did a +44/bcr medley. Breaks my brain a bit. 2006 seems like a fever dream

 

I’ve seen +44 play blink and AVA play blink. Now I’ll get to see blink play both. I like that. I’ve got almost two months until my show.
