It’s wild that Parker chose a rapist to drum for No Pressure when that album has some of the most programmed sounding real drums I’ve ever heard. Could of just used the Logic Session drummer and saved us from these conversations

I would like to go on record that people can stop criticizing the Patriots for being loosely connected to Aaron Hernandez.

I think it's entirely appropriate and 100% necessary for @OhTheWater and anyone else to speak their mind and educate those who are unaware of Parker Cannon's relationship to Harry Corrigan and any other problematic behavior that's related to this band. I also think that can be done without insulting and belittling others. Let people come to their own conclusions about what they're comfortable with supporting. I also find it incredibly reductive to say it's "loosely" related, because whether or not you can stomach it he is literally in a band with the fucking guy.

 

And what seemingly 87 people have tried to point out is "the only way you draw the conclusion that you were being insulted or belittled is if that is the conclusion you wanted to draw."

I barely know OhTheWater so this is coming from a relatively unbiased place, but from my vantage point it seemed as though they went out of their way numerous times to say "I'm not calling anyone in this thread a shitty person, I'm merely suggesting people consider how they vote with their dollar due to X Y and Z" or some other variation of that exact sentence, and multiple times they were met with "Stop calling me shitty!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

I think it's very important to maybe consider when you're feeling so aggressively attacked, to maybe step away for a few moments, breath, and ask yourself "am I still on planet earth or have I traveled to planet zippy and need to return home."

 

Yeah I'm not spending my afternoon arguing about the exact words that guy said but I think both sides of this argument can make points without insulting each other

If absolutely no one accused me of preferring Pepsi over Coke but just stated "I hope people know Soda is bad for them", and I continuously, passionately declared that I don't actually like Pepsi, but I like Coke, and did so multiple multiple times, I think most people would assume "wow, he really has a complex about liking Pepsi and not wanting people to know."
