I know people rip on this show for all sorts of shit but playing that Coldplay song at that volume in a scene is an insane choice

I know we've fallen far when I see little individual cubicles with walls and think "oh man, that'd be nice." Working in open offices was the absolute worst.

 

I feel like that whole push was a result of “oh man people seem really depressed at work and report not being happy, maybe it’s the lack of interaction because they’re stuck in cubicles all day” because that was a more convenient answer than “actually work for the most part fucking sucks and people don’t get paid enough to do it”

 

At our hotel, we had everyone in an open office space with their own desks and we switched to mini cubicles, and the only downside is it's impossible to tell sometimes when someone is in the room or not.

Most everyone ended up buying little flags to signal their presence.

Open office plans give me such horrible anxiety, not to mention how distracting it is. I also don't want people walking behind my desk all day looking at my screen.
