I think people are overreacting to Drew not winning.

 

Also, if they're gonna turn Punk heel (which seems likely), he's gotta cheat to beat Drew, and you cant actually put a belt on CM Punk because he's been hurt in each of his last couple matches.

Its clearly a WM program at some level, and it wouldnt shock me to see Drew win the belt there

 

How can Drew win the belt at Mania if you can't put a belt on Punk due to injury?

I heard “I Believe in Joe Hendry” about a minute after I woke up today and I can’t get it out my head. If he’s not one of the guys in the battle royal on NXT tomorrow, i’m gonna be very disappointed.

 

i understand being annoyed w the Punk thing but man, that camera shot paired with the crowd and Drew "realizing" what happened in unison is bar none one of my fav moments of the year. that five seconds is about as good as wrestling gets outside of pure bell to bell goodness.

that said i'd give it to Drew. dude reinvented himself before he even really cooled off and eventually something notable needs to happen on these international shows. this "show us you deserve more" thing WWE is doing in those markets is working but it'll diminish hard over return visits unless the shows load up or ticket prices go down

 

I need more "what happened to WCW" from every perspective imaginable. I need them to interview LA Parka about it, maybe Sick Boy and Van Hammer too.
