I was new to anything Chappell Roan-related until I decided to check out "Good Luck, Babe!". Currently on my sixth consecutive listen. What a refreshing sound in today's pop landscape. I fucking love it.

her debut was a slow burner i thought? like now people are noticing her but it came out last fall. i jammed it in december and i thought i was late but it seems now everyone is finding it/her

 

I think she slowly was being found by like... The music crowd, aka us and others who are actively looking for new music last year. Now however, in the last few months, I think she made the jump to the casual listeners or people who don't keep up with current music because she's quickly being spread online virally.

Last week a friend of mine asked if I've heard of her and he never keeps up with anything modern, I was shocked

 

Yeah September-April was a slow burn and then she skyrocketed

 

like i thought good luck babe was good but nothing as good as anything off her debut album, so i thought maybe that song was doing better than i thought or something haha

 

Her album is #1 on iTunes right now. Crazy.

 

They’ve moved her to main stage

 

Man, I feel for her. I can’t imagine the whirlwind of emotions she’s probably dealing with. This popped up on my feed from last year. As some who is in a relationship and lives with someone with bipolar disorder and only experiences it second hand, I can’t even imagine how she’s able to process it all.

 

Man that's gotta be such a hard thing to deal with. I can't even imagine having just instant success out of nowhere. Gotta be a great feeling, but yeah, gotta be massively overwhelming as well.

 

Thought we missed out but got All Things Go NYC tickets! They sold quick.
