Gonna be hard to follow up after Trevor's passing. I'm interested but if I'm honest I'm still not over it and this might be a hard sell for me, it still bums me the fuck out that he's gone.

 

Was told one of the Hells Heroes fest headliner for next year is Mercyful Fate which is enough for me lol.

hot damn I had no idea this band had an album out today. It's been 7 years since their last one, which fkin ruled. If you like your black metal with trad leanings, no band does it better

 

Working back through some of the classics I've missed. This is quite good.

Strong album, much better than her solo debut. I was lucky enough to catch Made Out of Babies shortly before they split at a label showcase in NYC..
Julie was unforgettable, openly mocking the silly pop-punk opening band as they launched into one of the fiercest sets I've ever seen.

 

I can now confirm also, that Restrictor Plate indeed fucks
