i am on the fence about doing a predictions card for CotC. a couple tossup matches but it's only a 5 show card and i don't want to deal with a ten way tie and a bunch of specific tiebreakers i gotta count out. it will probably be case-by-case w WWE whereas AEW shows always have 4,000 matches and make for fun guessing

 

I will say 5 matches is too lean of a card and the shows still somehow are 3 hours long. They could easily add 2 matches and cut down on the filler to make a more enjoyable viewing experience and give the live crowd more bang for their buck. Unfortunately TKO has had the strategy of giving fans as cheap/cost effective amount of content as possible since live gates are drawing huge numbers regardless of the cards they are presenting for UFC/WWE.

 

I like and don't like the 5 match cards. The matches are usually longer but at the same time they are leaving a lot of people off the shows

 

Honestly Sami/Gable is the only match I’m interested in

 

And I hope the Creeds help Gable win

Would greatly prefer Matt/Jeff stay away from AEW or WWE or even TNA at this point unless they want to produce or help backstage

They dropped a 2 hour long Eddie hate compilation. This is my ASMR.

 

The Death of WCW show is rather frustrating with it’s portrayal of Bischoff. The focus and constant downplaying his mistakes/over focusing on his successes is incredibly annoying. They didn’t even really focus on the first 8 months of 1999 where he let Nash and others book the company into oblivion. I have a feeling these are going to use Russo as a scapegoat when the company was already headed in a dark direction well before he arrived.

 

It was bad and basically had their grave dug already since AOL/Time Warner wanted to dump them anyway but Russo literally turned a bad product into a complete clown show.

 

I know he was in AEW when they filmed but my biggest gripe is how do you not have Sting?

 

Fam is it weird to go to a wrestling show alone? Dynamite is in town next week and the fiance doesn’t want to go but I still kinda do even if I have to sit through the bucks/acclaimed

Scotland crowd is already hyped as fuck singing HHH's theme on the kickoff thingy

 

If going to wrestling alone is weird than consider me Miles Davis

 

I went to Dynamite alone last year. Was a great time, and no one cared when I wanted to leave between Dynamite + Rampage.

(I did stay for the first match of Rampage -- it had Lucha Bros + Vikingo in it, I'm not a fool.)
