Does AEW usually do dark matches before Dynamite starts? I know they'll tape Rampage after, but wasnt sure if I should roll in early for an extra match

last dynamite I went to I strolled into my seats just as the dark match ended, and then the DAPPER YAPPER will start to hype the crowd up n shit. have fun tonight looks like a dope card!

 

we had some ROH matches before Big Business and got to see Mina premiere

 

I’m biased as an NXT fan but this definitely isn’t the best time to start getting into it because they’ve lost some of their key stars in the past few months. Trick is in a difficult spot because he’s still green but he’s been the most over guy for a year and is getting better. The women’s division is still one of the best around too.

 

I am way out of touch with NXT. The last time I really watched was the Cole/Gargano/Ciampa era around 2019 or so.

 

The first dynamite I went to I think they filmed dark before and rampage after and the most recent they filmed ROH first and rampage after

Started episode 2 of Who Killed WCW?

Right off the bat the issue I have is Bischoff and Kevin Sullivan saying Thunder weakened the brand because it spread the roster thin, and the audience got fatigued because they were tired of seeing the same talent every week. The problem is that 90's WCW roster was huge, and a lot of talented guys were barely getting used with just Nitro as is. Thunder was an opportunity to do more stuff with the guys who weren't NWO/Sting/DDP/Ex-WWF, and they blew it. Eric is the one who fucked that up by booking the same shit on both shows.

 

It’s a silly name and too on the nose. Would be like calling Steoman “Slam” or something haha wait that might work.

I think he could be repackaged in a cool way.
