Tour Prediction and Speculation Thread Tour • Page 380

  1. I saw The Dangerous Summer with less than 100 people at Warped 2011 while the entire rest of the crowd was at ADTR. I felt bad for TDS, but it was a cool experience.

one of the dates I went and watched woe is me, and this is 2011 so woe is me in their own right is blowing up at the time. 25 people and they thanked us for picking them over ADTR

I watched Bad Rabbits over A Day to Remember at Warped and most of the crowd was band members.

The 2011 Warped in Camden was D.R.U.G.S. vs ADTR at the end of the day and 2011 me was SO upset about that conflict

This discussion is making me really happy that I made 2010 my final Warped Tour ever. The line-up was GOATed, the crowds were cool, and there was a decent spread across all of the bands all day.

  6. 2011 was basically perfect for me: The Wonder Years, Relient K, Set Your Goals, Moving Mountains, The Dangerous Summer, and one ADTR song while I was walking by which happened to be my favorite of theirs. I went the other two years that TWY played, but that first one was easily the best.

I remember looking at the line-up and basically only being interested in Less Than Jake, Lucero, Set Your Goals, Unwritten Law, the Wonder Years, Street Dogs, and Big D. And considering that I'd seen most of them pretty recently at that point (except UL) and had concerns about conflicts I decided to just call it. Haha. There were cool bands but it didn't feel like a full day that would be worth the trek to the venue, time-off from work, etc.

A stark contrast to 2010: The Bouncing Souls, Alkaline Trio, Face to Face, Sum-41, MCS, AAR, Reel Big Fish, Andrew W.K., Every Time I Die, Set Your Goals, Polar Bear Club, Fake Problems... And Riverboat Gamblers, AM Taxi, Far From Finished, the Swellers, and the Flatliners on some of the smaller stages. It was a pretty perfect storm to the point where I went to two dates. Haha.

I fell off the Warped Tour in 2009, went back in 2010 and 2012 but, as a whole, the 10's it was a combination of the non-hooky pop-punk and diarrhea-core which I was just not interested in.

I went to Warped from 2009-2018. 2011 was definitely the weakest lineup, but in retrospect, I still found things to do. I remember going to more signings that year (The Wonder Years, Set Your Goals, Foxy Shazam) and walked away with a bunch of cool stuff.

I don’t recall every band added. But DKM, Pennywise, Descendents, LTJ and Fishbone were all added to the lineup.

Also “mystery band” with a Great Britain flag next to the name was on the lineup. I think it might be Snuff? But I don’t think we’ll know until day of

I went as a fan for the first time in 2012. Then I was on the whole thing in 2013 doing merch. I was so mad I didn’t get an every time I die year

    Things have changed.

05 was absolutely the GOAT year. I saw the following bands that summer:

    Paramore (Shira Girl stage)
    TREOS
    Underoath
    Motion City Soundtrack
    Gratitude
    The Starting Line
    Thrice
    Transplants
    The Offspring
    MxPx
    Fall Out Boy
    My Chemical Romance
    Relient K

2008 is my favorite lineup, historically, but 2012 was unreal. If the main stages were next to each other and it wasn't 106 degrees it would've been perfect.
