    I am a haunted house. I'm superstitious.

They should've started promoting this release already. Good Charlotte is releasing an album on July 15h, and already have album title, album artwork, release date, a single and a video out.

I think we'll be getting news imminently. I feel like each band member is just as excited about this as we all are, which is rad.

Actually, I like the way Blink's handling this. I think being discrete really raised the hype and word of mouth factor.

Given Blink's situation, I think they are handling this release just fine. In a studio together, with a respected producer who gets it, posting some updates, and slowly booking shows and festivals. The only other way this could have been done better was what FOB did with SRAR. But, for several reasons, Blink was never in a position to handle things in that fashion. I am very confident this will work out well. I like that the band has been selective in who they let listen to some songs that may or may not even be on the record.

I don't know if Tom has time to listen between his tinfoil hat outer space groups and meetings with corporate suits.

Speaking of Tom, he has sold his studio Jupiter Sound which he's used to record everything since after WDNTW.

So glad my parents did not subject me to parental advisory CD's when I was a kid. That would have been awful. I remember my buddy had Dr. Dre's 2001 edited and remember asking myself, "what's the point?"

I had a long drive the other day and was listening to a bunch of interviews with John Feldmann on his production style. Someone asked something like, "give us one secret to your production?" and he said it was getting the drums to sound good. I was so relieved to hear that (regardless of how you feel of Feldmann's previous drum production in the past), because I thought Travis' drums on DED and Neighborhoods sounded incredibly dull. I'm really hoping Feldmann resurrects the crisp and interesting drum production that Jerry Finn brought to the table.

Tom didn't listen to Neighborhoods so why would he listen to the new blink's album? By the way, he is releasing an EP tomorrow, isn't he?
