Also going back to my regional food bait post. Country Fried Steak? Never been a fan.

 

It doesn't satisfy the craving for a steak, but it's good for what it is and has it's place. AKA - this is something I'd 100% order at a cracker barrel on a road trip and enjoy the hell out of it.

EDIT - Honestly though, that may just be for the white gravy.

Pepperoni Rolls might be close. It's not like a stromboli. It's closer to a savory donut, fried dough with pepperoni and sometimes cheese inside.
