I still maintain The Darkness had the best crowd reaction of the day at that show.

    Things have changed.

Literally don't care enough to find the dates, but G-Eazy announced a tour, I guess

Ah that's right! I went to a lot of those DFPs so I confuse myself who played which year

I admit I went into that day thinking The Darkness were annoying, but their set blew me away. Such a fun vibe.

If you would have told me 5 years ago this would have been an issue for a deathcore band I would not have believed you. At this point just upgrade to larger venues. I said it before but I truly believe Lorna could justifiably play Theater of the Clouds (6000 cap) in Portland.

Iron Maiden is playing the Moda Center that same night and has been on the schedule since early last fall. The night before is also booked. There's an event almost every night in October at the Rose Quarter (and is every year), good luck to anyone trying to book here during that time haha

    idk man

I can't imagine it would be too similar to the DC lineup. Hozier's halfway through his Forest Hills Stadium residency, Bleachers is doing an MSG show soon, and a lot of the other acts on the lineup have shows in the next few months. The only ones that might be a possibility are Renee Rapp and Chappell Roan since they're playing Gov Ball and this gets announced right after, but they might still have a radius clause.

    TLDR: idk, very intrigued nevertheless.

If you're talking about something like an Aftershock or Rock On The Range or whatever those festivals are, I don't really think that demo lives in the NYC area. It's a delicate topic but there really isn't a white working class in the city and the surrounding suburbs anymore thus I don't know if there's the audience for that which is why the hardest rocking you'll get at festivals is, like, Foo Fighters.

very much agree with that. I could see a fest doing well in either upstate NY or central PA. Need to be able to draw from Pitts, Philly, Buffalo, Cleveland, and NYC to make it work.

Rock Allegiance was great when they held it in Chester PA at the Philly Union stadium (Think it was 2015 and 2016?). Went the 2 years they had it there and had a blast. Too bad the city rejected any future music events there as the people who lived around the stadium made noise complaints.
