sorry triple post then I’m done BUT there’s this huge bar in St. Louis called the armory with a lot of like entertainment and activities to do while there (giant playground, corn hole, pickle ball, music, etc) that turns to 21+ at 6:00 every day which is a best of both worlds type situation because you shouldn’t be taking kids out late anyway not that 6 is late but my family always ate dinner between 5-6 which I think is pretty standard around here but there’s really no reason to have a kid out at a bar later than that



Edit: almost quad posted but I’ll also add I worked at yard house for 2 years which is a real beer man’s restaurant and I saw zero kids Monday thru Thursday and suddenly on the weekends we became a fucking day care. Hated it as a server I fucking hate hate hate hate serving kids even though I’m extremely good with them and parents appreciate how much patience I show and actually take the time to interact with them if their kid is trying to interact with me but fuck they suck to serve they’re messy and they take up a seat at an otherwise bigger sized table while spending 5 bucks on chickie nuggets and driving my check average down. my nightmare is a 16 top party and ten of them are under the age of 12

Unfortunately not; no serious taco chain that I know of. They have this indoor food venue place that is basically an indoor foot truck hall, and the one taco place there charges $16 for three tiny tacos. Not cool. I went back to Minnesota in December for a month and the first place we stopped at on the way home from the airport was TB

It was a game changer for us when we found out they had really solid veggie options at TB (sort of late to the party I know). Black bean crunch wraps and spicy potato tacos for the win man

 

Touching on the kids at the brewery/bar thing, there’s an arcade bar in the STL area that on weekends have family hours so people can take their kids to play arcade games and honestly, it’s pretty fun.

 

If it would be anything like the ones here which opened a couple of years back, don't bother. Went once for the nostalgia of having a bean burrito or something like that, left extremely disappointed. Do you know how shitty it has be for TB to be disappointing?

 

What country are you in? I actually didn't think TB had locations outside the US, haha. But sucks to hear the quality isn't the same

 

My main group of friends all has kids so it's pretty much impossible for us all to get together as a group without the kids. And sometimes we'd like to get out of our houses lol. Breweries/beer gardens with outdoor space have been our main go-tos for that.

 

Breweries are pretty much restaurants so I get kids being there but I’ve been seeing parents bring their kids to late night karaoke and we don’t need kids around the drunk bachelor or bachelorette party or just around a late night bar full of drunk people in general

 

My dad used to bring me to the dive bars he went to because he couldn’t afford a sitter and he had a problem and I should not have been there. I didn’t need to think the things dive bar day drinkers were saying were normal
