Just finished Under the Bridge. Uneven, but mostly good. Lily Gladstone and Riley Keough put on great performances.

Interview with the Vampire is so fucking good this 2nd season.

 

I’m not entirely sure who is even releasing this, but the series was created by Cooper Raiff, who wrote and directed Shithouse and Cha Cha Real Smooth.

Bizarre that MGM+ is still a separate thing after Amazon bought MGM, and they haven't just folded it into Prime.

I get they’re trying to pull in new subscribers, but that movie deserves so much better.

 

MGM+ has From and Domina, both great shows.

 

They’d probably get more attention on Prime though. Domina was already cancelled.

Haha I’m so sorry! I didn’t get around to Domina yet, but I’m always down for Ancient Rome so it’s a shame.

 

Haha it's all good! I was super surprised at the news, S1 was pretty good and S2 was received super well so I thought MGM+ was satisfied with it as they don't have too much original content. It definitely filled that niche of ancient Rome shows and it's a real shame. I def suggest giving it a watch if that's of interest!

 

Started season 2 of Interview With A Vampire. They're going through the book quick. I would say they can stretch the last part of the story into season 3, but if this show goes into season 4 they're going to have to get into the other Vampire Chronicles novels. Also this season is doing a good job making Lestat feel present for the part of the story where he's not physically there.

This feels like the type of show that is only not a big hit because it's on a streamer almost nobody has. If this show was on Netflix it would be gargantuan.

I saw maybe half of the first season. Thought it was very bad.

I powered through the first season of your honor for Cranston since I usually love him, disliked it enough to never follow up with season 2. I remember being kinda confused about a s2 even happening since it seemed like a limited series at the time.

 

Season 1 got so insanely ludicrous as it went on that I never gave season 2 a chance.
