Snail Mail! hell yeah. Prescott hasn't had many artists that interest me for a while. Last I went to any of the shows there was the summer of 2019 when they got Courtney Barnett, Kurt Vile, and J Mascis.

Where’s this mayhem announcement? They do it at the end of the week and give a full week to get ready for on sale?

Wasn’t the summer slaughter announcement at 3 or some weird time? Thinking same might happen with the mayhem announcement

I grew up near Hartford and New Haven always had a bit more going on in big shows + DIY, but it ran away with things as Manic took off. It makes sense bc it’s halfway between Fairfield and Hartford County, but makes for a little dead zone where I grew up lol

I would love to see artists go the residency route and put full effort into not just the run of shows but incorporating elements of their sound/current era into the venue design and choice. Granted it'd be a bigger lift for the artist and their team but it could create some really memorable live moments.

I remember there was rumors that Gaga was going to try something like this before the Chromatica stadium tour came to be. If i remember, I think the initial rumors were 4-5 cities and she would be performing in a custom venue (Cirque-style tent) that would be in a city for a run of shows. The entire experience was going to be designed from the floor up and was even going to include some type of pre-show "club" venue that ticket holders could explore before entering the venue itself. Too bad this never came to fruition.

Yeah I've noticed that trend in the last decade or two. When I grew up it was mainly choosing between NYC/LI or Hartford.

Dashboard’s Emo Superjam they’re curating at Bonnaroo is starting to take shape…Andrew McMahon said in his latest IG post that he’s heading out to Bonnaroo in a week, would have to assume he’s part of this set as he’s not anywhere else on the lineup.

Cassadee Pope, Matt Schultz and Post Malone are all heavily rumored to be part of it as well.

I lost track of that band a while back. Feel like there was a fair amount of tour announcements, cancellations, more tour announcements, cancellations for mental health, rinse and repeat. No slight to whatever they were going through but just seemed to be a fair amount of back and forth. I saw they just put out a new album and played a small tour so hopefully things are going well.

A Guys live tour would be awesome. VIP tickets where you get to build Legos with Bryan before they go on-stage.
