I’m really really trying to get behind nxt but it’s just super corny now. A lot of great talent but still

 

Is NXT's crowd still horrible and annoying?

I watched the clips of Page and Grace and yeah that tiny studio crowd is not for me

 

The corniness is part of the appeal tbh

the crowd still stinks tho

 

The crowd has always been the worst part about NXT.

 

Cool to see Page and Grace in NXT. Hoping Ethan can still keep his indie dates as he is supposed to be doing Prestige in July. It’s kind of insane to see people explode about them though and act like it’s the biggest thing ever. I feel like the bar set for WWE getting praise is much lower than AEW. AEW put on a great show Sunday night and I’ve seen half of the people talking about it craping all over it lol

 

If you think the Full Sail crowd sucks, just wait for the apex. It’s an energy vacuum and sucks the life out of every UFC event there. Unless they add a lot more seating the NXT show could be pretty lifeless.

 

I'm hoping a hyped NXT crowd away from Full Sail will still be good despite the Apex. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

 

I’ve watched a good 50-60 UFC Apex cards and no crowd in the world will make it any better. It’s just the way it’s designed. Idk how much they’re gonna open it up but I think it holds a little under 1000

That’s just what it holds. Most UFC cards there have between 200-400 people in attendance. I’d be surprised if the NXT crowd is larger than 500 people.

 

I'm happy that Ethan is getting opportunities. He's really likable and his blog is fun, but I'm not high on him in the ring. His ceiling has always felt like TNA to me, but NXT makes sense.

The "who is he" chants that started initially were sad and funny.

ethan page is cool, good for him getting that WWE contract hopefully they can help him develop into someone who isn't just another guy

Mixing him in with the champ is a good start. Where he goes after that will be another story. I was never a huge fan but he was also hidden on Rampage or ROH when I started watching. NXT is usually good at finding something for everyone to do even though it doesn’t always land. I’m kind of salty that they called up Dijak to the main roster so he can just sit around instead of having matches.

 

Again, the worst thing about nxt is they put an over-the-top, crazy loud analyst in booker t who makes the product worse by commentating. Him and Mcafee make watching wwe programming an actual chore for me.

 

Like in the middle of Jordynne grace’s promo boomer was like SHUCKY DUCKY QUACK QUACK during a pause she had. Who does that help??

 

Yeah, Booker does my head in. Like McAfee, though. He's reeled in by Cole more than Booker is by Vic.
