Pretty unique song. More of a progression off LWM than I expected. Production sounds great though, no surprises there.

Great song. I thought the heavy part at 1:35 was foreshadowing a big ending, and while they briefly return to it at 3:52, it's another exercise in restraint, as has been consistent with their recent output. Sometimes I wish they'd just give in to temptation and occasionally jam out a bit a la Separation, but I'm probably projecting my own wants. I just get the impression that they're fighting the urge to do what they used to do in certain spots.

 

Damn I absolutely love this, so happy they're back.

Song is a bit more subdued than I expected. Will be interesting to hear it in the context of the album.

 

dont think im going to listen until the album releases. Very stoked for new music though!

 

Sorrow Machine is definitely just a cleaned up version of the demo at the end of the livestream. No major differences.

album is also 10 songs, 37 minutes. Hopefully all killer, no filler.
