The MA date isn't selling so great either. I'm guessing it's more location, and date coupled with ticket prices more so than demand. It's a Thursday night with a listed start time of 6:30pm about 45-minutes from Boston proper (without the inevitable rush hour traffic).

I feel like it would be doing better on a weekend or in a slightly smaller venue directly in the city. That's my levelheaded, relatively objective take. My subjective take is: "Who wants to pay $120+ to see that band in the year 2024?!"

Well, their reunion was at Riot 2022 and they do hinted more shows if I remember correctly, but besides some fests in the UK, opening slots for FOB and playing WWWY they have been really silent.

I must say, their set at Riot was underwhelming for me and my friends. So not what was the general consensus and if there is a big demand for a full tour besides some fests and opening slots appearances

They had a big crowd at WWWY and sounded fantastic there, I could see them touring.

If Hawthorne heights can curate entire festivals in 2024 and tour with an orchestra I'm sure there's demand for weekend shows ala Something Corporate at the least haha.

In a perfect world, they’d have been a good fit on Sad Summer in place of the usuals like We The Kings.

That’s kind of how it went when I saw them open for The Acacia Strain in Richmond a few years ago. Little to no activity for the first two songs to mayhem in 20 minutes. I went home and listened to them and Orthodox a shit ton.

I have wondered this w a few artists recently but chalked it up to me being older and out of touch ….but I do wonder if artists/management are willing to risk the possibility of low ticket sales in order to make more money on the price per ticket and ability to sell more

Agreed, they sounded great, and I didn't go in with any expectations

Apparently Alpha Wolf and Emmure (Frankie) didn’t get along on the tour that just ended. Go figure!

A date had leaked a while ago with love and rockets at Gallagher sqaure in petco park san diego. I think this combo will do fine

Went all three days and left early on Sunday cause the crowd was absurd. Busiest I’ve seen in it in the five years I’ve gone

There's definite hometown bias/influence here since I've only ever seen them in Portland but both times I've seen them the crowd has gone insane. To the point that I felt bad for SeeYouSpaceCowboy having to follow them up on the Counterparts tour (don't get me wrong SYSC was great too, but you could notice a definite change in energy).

I was at BC yesterday (third year in a row going), and this was the most crazy I've seen it. Never seen water lines until this year, never seen the pure amount of people. I believe it sold out Sunday of last year for Paramore, and the Sunday of the year prior for Metallica, and there was nowhere near the number of people there as there was yesterday.

I hope that they use what happened yesterday to better plan for next year (more water stations spread out, more bathroom options, etc.), but honestly wouldn't be surprised if it gets worse

You know who is probably going to be put in arenas when they finally tour and will not sell well? Cardi B. With the way they have prolonged and fumbled getting a second album out, the recent songs not sticking/smashing, and the one show she does have at the Lakers arena undersold, I can't see her pulling arena sized crowds when she tours.

Budweiser Stage is absurd for this. Saw Jane’s Addiction open for Alice In Chains years ago there and it was empty

Oh yeah, oh yeah, everything is terrible.

wasnt the show they did with Smashing Pumpkins at Scotiabank also pretty abysmal for attendance too?

Most of the venues are very reasonable, so probably came down to scheduling and availability.
