Yeah, but it could be announced soon for early next year. I still doubt my guess was incorrect.

They would have done well in sheds.

Yeah I’m curious as to what the thought process was for that tour. I wonder if they thought the new album was gonna do much better than it actually did.

I can’t see TBK doing arenas again unless it was a co-headliner of some sort

again, another case of how the hell did they think this would do arenas? Would have been a sold out shed tour

Would already have a Charli ticket if it wasn't the same night as Sum 41 here.

I think most cities lack the 3-5k venues that are bigger than clubs but smaller than sheds/arenas where more and more popular artists are starting to settle in.

The gaps between stadium, arena, and below feel way more stark than they used to. It’s either Eras/Guts/Renaissance never meeting demand or LGBTQ pop/21st century rock/The Weeknd overcommitting to a certain room size

John // OC now, OH forever.

Someone in the comments for Scott’s thread posted this one about the Sum 41 farewell too; Cleveland market as well, which historically was always a big market for Warped Tour.

  13. Seated venue for sum 41 seems dumb. Them playing the skyline stage in Philly was perfect

The bookings for this Sum 41 tour are all over the place. NYC, which I would’ve imagined would have a higher demand than other markets, was at a 2,200 cap venue. But then the NJ show was a 4.5k cap venue, and that Cleveland venue looks like it holds at least 15k.

This is mostly in regards to the Charli and Troye tour but I feel like some acts are now just rushing to NBA/NHL arenas when they are still theater/shed/smaller arena acts. I was honestly a bit surprised when Maggie announced a handful of NBA/NHL arena dates recently.

Going off that Camp Trash recommendation from the other day, Carpool should absolutely be bigger. Especially on this forum.

The Cleveland venue actually holds more than 20K but the majority of that is lawn, which is closed off for Sum 41 as it’s Pavillon only which I believe is only 5700

There’s still a TON of upper level seats for Twenty One Pilots for the CLE show and from looking at most other dates, seems to be plenty of sections unsold too. Some of the cities where they added second shows are almost totally unsold and the first night isn’t sold out.

I think it's honestly just a symptom of people not being able to afford arena price tickets more than bands not being arena ready. Sure there's some cases where that's true, but when most arena shows seem like tickets start at 100 for nosebleeds it can't be a shocker when the average person with an average income can't afford to go.

Went to the good food tour tonight. Might have been my show of the year so far. Literally going from twitching tongues to scowl to terror to drain was insane. Amazing show!

Same here in England. Standing hasn't sold out in Manchester because they are £170 each. Another issue with a band like 21P is because their fans are a lot younger they may need a parent accompanying them which means buying 2 tickets not 1.

At the end of his Boston Calling set yesterday, Frank Turner said he'd "be back in August." Guessing that's for a short east coast run to fill-in some of August...

Sum 41 tour is still 4 months out. Those sales seem fine for it being that far out.
