Glad we aren’t doing a card for the Saudi card. Can’t in good conscience support that shit and feel dirty letting my 8 year old daughter see a bunch of wealthy foreigners pretend like nothing is wrong while women are still very much treated like shit in that culture. All of the pictures of the various women wrestlers in bikinis this week acting like that is normally allowed there is pretty disingenuous.

 

Also funny how these anti AEW rumors break out on PPV weekends. Like TK letting contracts expire instead of firing people is not really bad news and everyone knows the roster is bloated. They can stand to lose 20-30 people that are buried in Rampage/ROH.

 

I had no idea that this was a Saudi event.

 

That’s exactly where WWE and Saudi want people. Big sporting events in Saudi are so normal nowadays that it doesn’t stand out as much as it used to.

That’s gotta be why guys are still doing indies; you’ve got a bunch of young guys on the roster who need the ring reps and AEW not running house shows means they might wrestle every three months.
