Buying tickets will always be a shitshow. Breaking up these two are not going to lower prices but hopefully provide more transparency.

My favorite part of this is just putting real acts like The Lumineers and Kendrick in.

They're about to add an extra "breakup" fee to every ticket after it happens

Hot Mulligan is another one. Feel like they've been touring nonstop for years. Guess you gotta keep riding the hype wave though when you hit it.

A couple months back Ryan Kirby was responding to someone on Reddit saying they aren't home for anywhere from 5-7 months of the year. So yeah definitely a band working the grind of tour, studio, tour, studio.

I think of Turnstile. Since 2021 they have toured worldwide non-stop, they have a great momentum but they really need to rest and work on new music if they feel like it.

I’m surprised they haven’t put out new music yet. Surely the Glow On wave is bound to die eventually, right?

Since the release of Glow On I have seen them 5 times. And while their shows are super fun, I do wish they had new music or at least add more songs from their previous albums

Seems like a unique combo of hardcore/heavy bands that would’ve toured a ton anyways taking advantage of the massive boom at festivals/huge scale tours/support slots that may not last to the next album.

Thinking of the 00s pop punk/emo and indie waves that didn’t die fast but definitely changed in optics when they went from underground to mainstream/flirting with mainstream. Ride the wave now and hope you can run it more sustainably once it settles down

Up until they broke up, I swear ETID was never not on tour. They were road dogs.

When’s that Jane’s Addiction/Love And Rockets tour supposed to be announced?

Boundaries dropped off the Misery Signals tour to do the Beartooth tour instead.

They’ve definitely chilled out on touring this year so far. Not nearly as many shows as the last… 3 years

I mean it’s no different than the amount of touring that like, Phoebe Bridgers or Japanese Breakfast were doing with their pandemic albums. If your pandemic album has a lot of legs why not go as far as you can with it before moving on?

I am sure they are working or will be working on the next album soon though.

  23. Feel like a lot of these bands have a limited earnings window. Gotta make that money now.

Honestly smart move after seeing how well the last Beartooth tour did. They're pretty much right on the cusp of being a small arena act.
