KOTR and QOTR winners now get a title match at Summerslam. Don’t know why they couldn’t announce this earlier because then more people would actually be interested in it.

I can see Orton and Nia winning now.

 

Orton winning KOTR means he's gotta beat Gunther and I can't see that happening. Cody & Gunther at Summerslam sounds fun.

Can anyone explain why Cody holds both the Universal Championship and the Undisputed WWE Championship, yet Priest holds the World Championship? Does anyone actually know what Undisputed and Universal mean?

Too many damn titles.

 

It’s a title shot on their respective brand. Easy way for them to get to the Cody/Orton feud that’s been bound to happen.

 

since roman beat brock at mania dallas a couple years ago the wwe and universal were combined into 1, which cody holds

priests world championship was a brand new title introduced for the raw brand not long after that

 

I think the belt cody holds carries the wwe championship lineage and the universal is effectively retired?

 

It’s okay to have smaller filler feuds in a title run. They’re clearly saving Swerve/Ospreay for Wembley

 

For some dumb reason, they list both titles as though they're separate. Weird.

Yep, think he just carries the one. Waiting for him to get a custom title that's just his weight belt.

Conspiracy theory is that they just gave him the one so he doesn't have to say Undispthuted on TV.

 

Can't really see them doing Gunther/Priest at Summerslam unless Priest isn't the champ by then

I'd think if anything, we get Gunther in the main event in Berlin a few weeks after Summerslam.

There's still the Scotland PPV and Money In The Bank in July; part of me thinks Logan Paul's winning MITB and calling his shot for Cleveland.

 

25th anniversary of Owen Hart's passing. Crazy to think just a year later he'd probably be in the middle of a STACKED mid-card that would have included Eddie, Angle, Jericho and the ECW/WCW Invasion angle.
