St. Louis’s infrastructure is so car centric even that wouldn’t suffice unless I moved further into the city limits

 

I’ve tried adopting a sigma hustler

 

I googled "guy holding grocery bags with butt cheeks" in full view of my coworkers and manager all in the office with me for the sake of that joke

I was hoping for a gif of it but had to settle for just the pic

 

Like it’s impossible for me to get to my parents house by public transit. It’s 10 miles away.

can you be better at cycling like at my new york level, where i do have bike lanes, but do i really need them?

 

my gf used to ride her bike to work in Philly daily til she almost got hit and someone yelled at her

 

Public transportation is pretty much non-existent in Michigan.

 

Vote blue no matter who

 

i never want to move away from a real city with its real transit system however flawed and smelly.

but also public transportation in many parts of new jersey are pretty good too.

 

I get both parties are equally bad, but there’s this shit

 

I didn’t have a car in Philly for about a year and was totally fine and was able to find a decent enough job in walking distance. Too bad Philly is literally hell on earth and almost killed me multiple times and I had to move away.

 

I've always felt fine in Philly. Parking can be surprisingly tough in South Philly though.

 

I used to get parking tickets all the time in west Philly and even got booted once. Honestly not having a car my last year saved me money. Which I made up for with all the drugs I bought

Philly is pretty walkable but the flip side of that is the public transit feels very mid for a city that big and old imo

 

are we making excuses or are we making money???

 

It felt insanely good compared to what I’m used to and the septa lines and buses extend way out into the suburbs and surrounding areas whereas there’s very few buses that go past the city limits here and forget about the subway in this city it’s a joke. Granted Philly compared to like Chicago yeah it’s lacking big time

 

thats because its not a big city at all.
