Announcing a fest one year out is an interesting move

 

Mayhem Fest socal date is coming back to Glen Helen Amphitheater. Supposed to be around September/October

 

considering the 2024 fest is this weekend and sold out, i'd say they're doing fine.

 

they actually typically always do the first set of bands right after the current one ends so keeps it fresh in everyone’s mind. As you said this year is actually sold out so they put it out there im sure to get people to buy early.

 

Unlikely, but would love for it to be Meshuggah.

The way Keegan didn’t believe Maya when she accused Mo Troper of abuse, which came to light after he said he believed her, was pretty gross. Not to mention he retweeted Mo’s post he made about releasing his new album the other day so it’s clear where he (still) stands. He took a break from Twitter for a few days but then went back to posting like nothing had happened.

I really liked Camp Trash before that but that was pretty shitty of him to do. Also there were a lot of tweets but Maya also detailed instances of Keegan being shitty or a bad bandmate to her.

 

Like how he didn’t learn a single song of hers on bass before a tour

I know the targeted demographic isn’t really here but like Besame Mucho fest single day tickets costing nearly $400 is absolutely insane. I don’t know how these one day fests got so popular.

 

I got an ad on Instagram for some new fest in SLC named Love Letters Fest happening September 27-29. No info on when the lineup will drop or anything, but I’m curious to see what this is about

According to the article this is going to take years. So unfortunately buying tickets will still be a shit show for the foreseeable future
