I thought the episode from Paul’s perspective was really good and then they didn’t know what to do after that and I got bored with it.

Fair enough! I thought they did a good job connecting everything and making it all make sense by the end

I guess along with Pixar's "restructuring" that included laying off 14% of it's staff they also said they're no longer going to make original content for Disney+

they still have one series on the way, and my assumption is that they'll make a bunch of supplemental shorts for the service. that being said, it's kinda stupid that they have their own dedicated section on a streaming service and won't add anything original to it beyond preexisting or upcoming theatrical releases, especially since every other "tile" on the service has a somewhat steady flow of original programming. idk. i haven't watched much Pixar in years, but it'd be cool to see them use the platform to tell stories not suited for a theatrical audience, instead of giving everyone more sequels they didn't ask for.

My guess is they'll still be Disney+ content focused on Pixar IP, but it'll be produced by soley by Disney Television Animation, and not in-house similar to Monsters At Work.

Finally watched all of Freaks and Geeks after years of watching an episode here or there.

What a great show and a real bummer it got cancelled after one season.

I Started watching Lolla on Paramount.

It brings me back to 1991 when it started, and being there - 22 years old, listening to <that> music, excited to be there... And then revisiting it again the 2nd year, being there when the XFinity Center (Great Woods) fence was torn down, the rains came, and a bonfire was born.... And the lawn was so destroyed, Jimmy Buffet couldn't play the next day. Oh Al Jourgenson, we miss you...

Back then, my friends and I loved Janes, and Perry could do no wrong. We jumped at a chance to go to the show. Watching them all talk of the '91 tour brought back so many fun filled memories, and when they talk of the next year with the Jim Rose sideshow.... Ow. Just Ow.

Hmmm looks like Gondry/Kauffman gone wild, so extremely stylized and quirky. Could be good though

My wife and I stopped All in the Family halfway through season 4. I totally admire the writing and the tough subject matter it tackled, especially for its time. I can see why it’s on “top TV shows” lists for sure. But it’s just so exhausting and I can’t stand the characters. I get that that’s the point and you’re not supposed to like them and it’s social commentary, like IASIP I guess, but it’s just not entertaining anymore. I can write essays on just one episode, but I don’t care to unwind at the end of the day to binge watch triggering far right boomers. Still an S-tier show though!
Anyways, we started The Mary Tyler Moore Show and the difference is startling. It’s hilarious and wholesome so far. Pretty progressive and feminist for the time and Mary is a great character so far. I can watch a bunch in a row.

Disney+ adding in a bunch of non-Disney/kids stuff is so fucking stupid. Why do I need to scroll past 5 rows of Hulu bullshit before I can get Bluey on for my son?

Go to search type the letter B and it's the first thing that comes up. It takes 5 seconds.

It’s idiotic. Hulu already exists, why clog another service?

Also if your problem is that Hulu stuff makes it harder to find your regular shows in the UI then why don't you just utilize the Watchlist function?

Because I’ve used the app in a very convenient way since it came out. Why would they clutter it, and why are you bootlicking?

Asking why you are making things difficult for yourself when there are several simple built in solutions to your problem, and then complaining about it is bootlicking yes.

"Me complaining that I have to type too many numbers into my phone to call someone, then calling the person that told me to just go to Contacts a bootlicker for the cell providers"

They made it difficult by clogging their interface with non-Disney media. It’s a streaming service for children, why do I need to filter through irrelevant bullshit to find it? Why wouldn’t Hulu keep Hulu things on Hulu?
