I'm not the biggest fan of her debut album but it's impressive how she can just recreate that sound so effortlessly for one song like Diner

I like this album a lot, gut reaction is it’s her best record yet, but I wanna listen more before taking a hardline stance on that.

Yea damn this album is great, and having the restraint to keep it to 10 songs shows great care

My early impressions of this were sort of mixed (generally like it but think the highs are lower than on the previous two albums) but it’s way too early for me to have more than just kneejerk reactions at this point

So far I really like about a third, enjoy a third and then there's a third I could easily do without

Can’t remember if I already said this but here is where I stand: I think the whole thing is solid but the highs are not quite as good as my favorites from the last album. I don’t think it’s disappointing at all though - it’s ten pretty good-to-great songs.

I love how concise and cohesive of an album it is. Not a bloated tracklist, and everything transitions nicely into each other.
That said there's really only like 3 or 4 songs on here that I feel the desire to return to. Given it a few full listens too.

I'm kinda glad I'm not blown away by it, because honestly so much good music has come out in recent months that I'm having a hard time keeping up lol. Birds of Feather might stay in constant rotation though.

some of this really reminds me of Petals for Armor which is about as high a compliment as I can give

She was apparently asked to come to Texas and she said “no” which I find pretty whack tbh

After sitting with this for the weekend, still enjoy it but I’d rank it below the other two records. This is her most cohesive record but it’s just missing those couple moments to really elevate it.

I mostly just liked the fun singles from the first one, and still haven’t felt incentivized to listen to her whole second one for whatever reason. But this new one hits so surprisingly good for me right now.

Well, surprisingly, but also… exactly how I hoped a Billie Eilish album would hit from the second I first got into her early singles.

The only downside is, while it absolutely doesn’t feel “same-y,” the cohesiveness and how it flows makes it hard for me to remember which tracks are the highlights, lol. But, that’s not a problem when the album unit is as enjoyable as this is, and that’ll eventually change.

I have actively disliked most of what I’ve heard from her in the past but you’re all right that birds of a feather is great

This is the first album of hers i havent been able to stop listening to. I think its significantly better than her last 2. My favorite track is Chihiro, but Birds of a Feather is a close second. Ive been reading lots of Hayley comparisons, but Birds of a Feather reminds me so much of Now, Now with her little sighs like KC does.

I liked Happier Than Ever pretty immediately but that's partially because of how much I loved the title track. This doesn't clear the highs of Happier Than Ever for me but the production is so lush on this one that I've already been returning to it. I will say I kind of hope she leans in a beltier/louder direction sometime soon.
