Forgot to buy Dismemberment Plan tickets so they sold out but I got tickets to a second show that also sold out immediately.

 

Gotta stay on top of presale bro. I got my tix Wednesday

 

I had Blood Brothers tix on my mind. That’s why I spaced it lol

 

Is For Lovers spoiled the mystery bands for LA via a sponsored ad.

 

Some good adds, but still definitely the weakest out of all the IFL lineups

 

The disparity in lineups between LA and Ohio is really apparent when the Ohio one is $15 less after fees and twice the bands.

 

Gotta pass this up as it's the same day as Creed

Not sure how big that venue is but the first thing that came to mind is that this year is the 30th anniversary of Hootie and the Blowfish’s Cracked Rear View.

Idk if anyone here is interested, but Two Door Cinema Club announced at Just Like Heaven yesterday that they’ll be playing YouTube Theater in LA September 18th

 

Dan from Four Year Strong posted how he’s excited to play NFG’s Catalyst later this summer; think that pretty much confirms that Chad isn’t planning on being on the NFG tour. Bummer but absolutely understandable.

Dan has played second guitar for them for years. It doesn't necessarily mean Chad is out.

 

Hasn't Dan always been touring with them as the rhythm guitarist? I thought it was the guy from ADTR that would fill in on lead guitar for Chad.

Yeah since 2018 they've had an additional guitarist touring with them. Just because Dan is playing doesn’t necessarily mean Chad is benched. But we’ll see

 

I remember seeing them at Riot Fest in Toronto shortly after they gave Steve the boot when they only had the one guitar live and it sounded so empty and lifeless. Very glad they always tour with two again nowadays

 

I remember reading an interview with them before the release of Resurrection where they were super adamant on getting a second guitarist and continuing with just Chad. I’m glad they changed their mind too. Just sounds way too empty with one guitar.

 

That’s my biggest problem with Resurrection as a whole. The songs all sound hollow and empty to me
