Left Behind is my fav

 

the last minute of it was cool. and was a really nice payoff to how meh the rest of the song was haha.

 

yeah, this one's pretty cool too. in my top 2 so far.

 

the intro to "skin ticket" with that guitar riff and those huuuuge drums... that part was awesome

 

I've never really gotten the outsized love for the first two, speaking as someone who only came tentatively onboard via "Duality." I find all their non WANYK albums various levels of patchy tbh, and even that could probably stand to drop a tune or two from the back half.

 

I honestly couldn't even tell you the last time I listened to Vol 3.

 

Ok. Final verdict. This was mostly not my cup of tea at all. The production was crisp and huge and that was cool to hear. Not a fan of most of the vocals on this. But "My Plague", "Skin Ticket", and "Left Behind" were pretty undeniable. Those were the only 3 songs I saved.

 

can't at all be excited for a new slipknot album/song until I hear something. adderall is the only song that stuck with me in the slightest from the last one, and every single heavy song felt extremely forced. they either need something to inspire them to write heavy songs, or just do weird shit like adderall

 

I believe Slipknot fans are called "maggots".

 

I hear you. Last album was trash water and completely uninspired, despite them trying different things. Nothing about it really ever caught my ear. Only tracks I kinda dig are Adderall and Finale.
