maybe I'll see you there! it's cool as hell but I have no part in it, except for working there the summer after college. selfless plug, if you like maple syrup keep an eye out for Crown Maple, usually in whole foods.

I'm 30. im hoping to catch some comedy shows, maybe something on broadway. I'm also excited to see all of the Christmasy stuff.

I'm mainly looking for good food recs. I'll eat just about anything but I'll narrow it down to seafood, Indian, Asian, pizza...

I live in texas so i can skip bbq or steaks since i can get those a lot already haha. i am excited about finally trying Shake Shack.

    Nice, I'm 29.

For comedy, the Comedy Cellar is the classic, but can get crowded. The Stand is fun as well. The Xmas stuff is great. Just walking around the sights.

Seafood I really like "Fish" on Bleecker. Gets busy but delicious and not pretentious. If you go to Williamsburg at all, Tikka Indian Grill is very authentic Indian, and it's BYOB. Try any Xi'an Famous Foods for Asian, good if you're traveling alone. Pizza will be plentiful and pretty good if you avoid the $1 slices. Joe's is my favorite, there's a couple of them.

There's this new place in the West Village called Taco Mahal and I cannot recommend it enough. Mexican-Indian fusion. I had a chicken tikka masala "taco" on garlic naan bread and a lamb curry roti. 3 min walk from christopher street station.

In a week or two my roommate are going to take a bus from Ottawa to NYC and wander for a night or two. Neither of us really have any idea what New York, let alone America is like. Hopefully I can get a cronut though @iCarly Rae Jepsen

My roommate recently went to Montreal, one of the only places that has Krispy Kreme in Canada, and said they had a donut burg. He didn't get to grab one, so at the very least I've got to try one of those

    Best pizza in NYC?

I was told Joes in the West Village was the best. I thought it was mediocre at best. I've had better slices at random pizza joints around the city.

Still need to try Di Fara in Brooklyn too.

Johns is better if we're just talking about tourist places and ya the burg has a ton of interesting food places if you're up for that trip. There's a also a place near johns and joes called Keste. A lot of places are in Brooklyn otherwise I'd recommend those.

Not sure why totonos isn't on here but it's one of the best, you just need a reservation.

Also Grimaldis in dumbo is like a big deal but it's either great or terrible so it's up to you. Just expect to wait a few minutes on the line. If you don't wanna wait I think you can make a reservation or just walk over to the atrium, which isn't really pizza but really good haha
