Yeah I’d say there’s zero chance of getting anything from the NFG pressing. Have they even acknowledged it? Mine is a Banquet Recs exclusive, which they haven’t received yet so I’m a long way off (as with RXB)

 

New Coheed song + 7” vinyl preorder tomorrow. Dammit my favorite bands getting me with these non-LP’s.

 

Hannah ordered it (NFG) for me for my birthday and still hasn’t gotten a shipping notification. Did their store orders ship for others? I suppose I should email someone at some point but I’ve been very busy and exceptionally lazy on the weekends.

 

Only ones I’ve seen that have shipped out are UO variants.

Missed the /1000. I dislike 7's but after the last Coheed album I decided to order. *shrugs*

 

It's at a better price point than Thursday's new release, so I hope the songs are good! haha

 

Someone posted this in the NFG-fan Facebook page on an email from the distributor...Wonder if we'll see an official statement soon?

 

So if you got it from UO you’re just screwed then?

 

Others had the same question on the NFG fanpage and UO told them they could: keep the item for a partial refund (15%), a 10% off coupon, or to re-ship the same item.

 

I wonder what "next" NFG release they mean?

I'm listening to my collection in alphabetical order as I'm putting them in inner sleeves and admittedly i haven't gotten very far but partway through i just impulsively decided that i want single lps with gatefolds to be in between the jacket flaps rather than inside one, idk? having it outside the back cover is a big sensory ick tho, when i pull out a jacket i don't want to be touching the record on one side and cardboard on the other (even if they're ultimately all within the outer sleeve). i get that people prefer the record be shipped outside the jacket but as far as storing them for my personal use I'm less concerned about ring wear or whatever and more concerned about preserving the records themselves, i doubt i'll ever be selling any of these unless i'm like really in a pinch or something. they're my babies.

So I guess I’ll have to buy another copy of FTSTYS2 to get all the tracks. Bummer.

Hope the next NFG is the first one. That would complete my collection.

This is a special release for Coheed and Cambria, a very rare standalone 2 song release. The Joke is a track that came from album sessions but felt better paired with the re-release and remix/remaster of the fan favorite, yet hard to find 2012 track, Deranged, which is a homage to the synergy between Batman and the Joker, and how every hero needs a villain. The Joke lives in its own lane with this other rare track, and we felt it was a great bridge between the band’s most recent album, Vaxis 2: The Window of the Waking Mind, and their yet to be announced follow up album coming soon on Virgin Music.
