Speaking of, got to see Day of the Dead on 35mm last night.

Might actually be my favorite of the trilogy, to be honest.

 

been playing Resident Evil 2 a lot recently this documentary was made for me

 

I’ll never forget my neighbor sitting for me when I was 11 or 12 and they had a PlayStation, and they just left because this was white trash babysitting and I was alone and played resident evil in this unfamiliar dark trailer all by myself. It might have been the first PlayStation game I played because I remember being amazed by the story and the graphics and ultimately really scared. It was only like an 800 foot walk to my house but I was so scared after playing that game for about 2 hours.

Glad to see everyone’s doing well and see you back!

 

Haven't been able to watch much for obvious reasons over the past few days, but here's a lil update on what I did get to see before shit hit the fan:

- Bad Taste was fucking awesome and so, so fun
- Alien in theaters made me question if I really prefer Aliens, so glad I got to have that experience
- The Autopsy of Jane Doe was so good, gory but not gruesome and felt like a cross between a modern Edgar Allen Poe story and a nu-Evil Dead flick
- The Taking of Deborah Logan felt a little closer to a typical Paranormal Activity sequel than I was expecting, but still had some strong scares/moments (including that gif that's all over the internet)

In the middle of watching Mom & Dad right now, gonna. try to squeeze in some combination of Serial Mom, Mother's Day, and The Stepfather over the next few days for this month's podcast.

Does anyone know if Humane is set to hit streaming or if it's just VOD?

 

Humane randomly dropped on certain sites around the same time it hit theaters even though I don’t think it even hit VOD. But yeah it’s out there and yes I already know what I have to do lol

TV Glow was really fun, barely horror in any traditional sense but definitely unsettling a lot of the time

I know you'll all tell me to go, but I am debating seeing Romero's Dawn of the Dead in 3D with Ken Foree Q&A afterwards next Wednesday. Only reason I'm debating is because it won't be over til 10ish and I am an old man with work the next day.

Does anyone know if/when TV Glow is getting a wide theatrical release? I got a trailer for it before Civil War. Not sure if that's just theater-dependent or what
