The wait for it to hit consoles is going to kill me. Really wish I had the money to upgrade my PC now. Lol

It’s insane how much the 360 games cost still. Like why am I paying $30 (or whatever it is) for a digital copy of COD2? So I really hope that happens too because I’d love to replay those campaigns

Oh I would make a hard bet that they’ll drop an announcement that the old CODs are dropping on GP during the showcase.

I looked for an interview and the wording was basically all future cod games are day one most likely but nothing really about the old ones which is a bummer

  14. BL3 DLC: Psycho Krieg and the Fantastic Fustercluck. Amazing. Emotionally resonant story, really cool map design, some dream and horror elements here and there, just so much to love. Right up there with Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep. ever since BL2 there was this fan theory that Krieg was Tina's dad. As I played this DLC I kept waiting for the big reveal, but more like "they wouldn't actually do that, would they?" They didn't. Tina's parents were experimented on. Krieg was experimented on. They're both who they are because of trauma. But that's where the similarities end. It's a relief, really. If they were actually related, it would go against the sort of found family theme the series has going on.

    Players log!!!

final fantasy 7 rebirth: rolled credits a few days ago and it’s hard to put fully into words how I’m feeling about this one. overall I love it and it will go down as an all time classic and this entire remake trilogy project has shown square Enix still has some ambitious game developers working over there that continue to push the boundaries of what we can expect from them. that said it has so many flaws and is largely a giant mess that it’s a hard sell unless you really were all in after remake. the combat system is great but some weird difficulty spikes and poorly designed boss fights in the final chapters made it wear out its welcome and made me ride out the final hours of the game on easy just to get on with it. still, the journey with these characters touched my heart in ways I wasn’t expecting and part 3 can’t come soon enough

Fire emblem three houses: alright I’m on chapter 6 of a second playthrough with dimitri’s house and I’m ready to say it: this is one of my favorite games of all time, it would make a top 10 list if I made one today. I’m having a blast re discovering the monestary and taking on a whole new group of students to train and build into a worthwhile army. the role playing aspect of this game will always put it above engage even if I do long for some of the mechanics from that game. this is one of those games that when I pick up I simply can’t put it down

Grand theft auto 4: I like to pick this game up every now and then and mess around with some missions and lately I’ve been having a ball as things escalated and I had to choose between killing playboy x and Dwayne (playboy dies sorry). Just got two new sick safe houses and have been seeing some more high end cars pop up now that I’m further into the game. I really love just driving around the grey scale liberty city while flipping through the radio, I primarily rock this one out on the steam deck and it reminds me of when I would play grand theft auto 3 on the psp when I was a kid.

the outer worlds: I did the intro quest so not much to say here yet and we’ll see if this is what I’m actually gonna stick with rn

Pokémon fire red: the delta app on iOS has been a godsend and I’m having a blast replaying this childhood classic for the first time in years. I’m coming off of omega ruby as the most recent Pokémon game I’ve played and man I do miss the party exp share from the later games but emulating means fast forwarding through grinding so it’s not so bad. I’m almost to the first gym and since I went Squirtle it should be a pretty easy task

risk of rain 2: Unfortunately a W seems to elude me in this game. I’ll have a run where I get close as fuck in the final stage and even the final boss fight and die to some bullshit and then I’ll struggle to get past stage 2 for five runs in a row because I’m on tilt so bad. I know it’ll happen i know im good enough at the game but it’s so frustrating when you get in a rut of bad run after bad run after bad run

slay the spire: see above man

assassins creed odyssey: video game comfort food I love ac games new and old and I know this one’s a biggie so I’ll likely just chip away at it but I like to play big beautiful open world games on my big tv late at night with all the lights off and just marvel at it and this game is perfect for it

there’s a couple other games I’ve been dabbling with here and there but nothing too serious…curse of the dead gods, gameboy Mario tennis, world of Warcraft leveling an alt in retail, etc. but yeah I’ve got a lot of free time right now that won’t last forever so I’m savoring it and getting in what I can without worrying too terribly much about actually finishing things and more just spending time with whatever feels fun at the moment without caring about how far I am or whatever

I've been running through the DS Pokemon games on my retro handheld and my god does fast forwarding make for an easier gameplay. Finished HeartGold and White. Just started White 2 last night.

  25. Afaik a gamepass subscription doesn't grant you access to the dlc for most games, so I look forward to buying a complete edition of Starfield during a Steam sale a few years down the line when all is said and done, I feel like it's fresh enough in my memory at the moment that I don't wanna revisit it just yet, as cool as that update looks
