The NXT call-ups were the only picks worth a damn. What a shitty draft lol

 

Nakamura to Smackdown might be good. More room for him to do stuff there hopefully.

 

I have no attachment to anyone on the nxt roster except I binged the hell out of it the past year while trying to get my daughter to sleep, so it’s cool to see a good chunk of them graduate.

 

Also Owens/Gargano/Ciampa now on the same roster could make for something dope.

 

He can face Cody for the 10th time

Raw’s got a real “no top babyface” problem until Seth & Punk are regulars again. Maybe it’s Dragunov or Bron.

 

I think they intended Jey Uso for that spot, but I just can't see it working out.

 

I thought I had read NXT was actually going to be treated like a 3rd brand get get draft picks too? Instead its just shuffling a few wrestlers around and doing a few call ups. Seems kinda dumb...

 

The crowd is with him until the bell rings. That’s half the battle but the place is dead during his matches & it’s a real problem.

 

I see why they don't. I think the perception is that anyone going from the main roster to NXT is a demotion for someone they think needs improvement. Announcing that on TV would feel a little weird.

 

WWE putting Will Ospreay's ex-girlfriend on the show that airs the same night as Rampage. Wonder if that was a weird subtle shot lol

 

I read the results.. Why even do the draft gimmick if you're not switching anything? Just have damage cntrl show up on raw to beat up Becky if that's your only move.

I think it makes the product look bland doing it this way.

 

The worst part of the draft was whenever there was an NXT pickup they cut to the WWEPC and we had to see Pillman JR in the front overselling all his reactions hamming it up for the camera looking like a big goof.

I couldn't stand seeing this guy on Raw for a few second increments. Can you imagine how bad it'll be if he's called up? lol

 

Tegan Nox to SD, Giovanni Vinci to SD, New Catch Republic to Raw, Dijak to Raw.

Raw has all the meaty men now. Drew, Sheamus, Gunther, Dijak, and the law firm of Bron, Braun and Bronson.

edit: They apparently remembered Odyssey Jones and Apollo Crews and drafted them too.

 

Surprised Gallus didn’t get called up, they haven’t been doing anything on NXT

personally I think floor seats are overrated unless you're in the first few rows, I usually prefer the first level up where you're eye-level or so of the ring, even if you're further back
