i think any of the big name bands on the list could theoretically be considered headliners if they want to call themselves that. my guess is they are stretching the reality of the situation, but we’ll see! regardless, cool but weird pull for this tour. hopefully they win over some of the fanbases in attendance.

I don’t know we are on year 3? 4? Of this emo/warped tour revival kick and it seems stronger than ever. Literally using HH as an example. Right before the pandemic they were struggling to fill 200 cap rooms, now they are filling 1k-3k venues up now.

 

to your point:

1) everyone had 2 years to sit at home and remember the good old days and fear that they’d never have them back

2) millennials are becoming the older generation and the one with more money. Similarly to baby boomers and wanting to see REO Speedwagon every 2 years, we are becoming that. It’s just the way of the world. The difference is us millennials thought we’d be immune to that phenomenon for some reason. HH saw the wave and said “Hi, we will be your REO Speedwagon”

HH fills 1-3K rooms? I had no idea they were drawing like that. The last time they were here they opened the Bayside/Senses Fail tour.

At least half of thier acoustic tour that starts next week is already sold out... They have been selling pretty well the past 2-3 years
