in terms of new pokemon i kind of feel the same way i did with xy. enough cool new mons for me to build some teams and be happy with them, but the low number causes the ones i dont like to bea much larger percentage, as well as a lot of cool pokemon that had a lot of potential but either had no evos (koala) or evos i dont like at all (pipikek)

 

I'm shocked that so many people went with Fennekin as their starters for X and Y. I love Fennekin, and getting a freaking Fire/Psychic fully evolved starter was beastly. However, so many people crapped all over Delphox's design that I thought it wasn't very popular.

New Pokémon conspiracy theory:

We go back to Kanto in the post-game.

For anyone who hasn't been watching those live-action trailers, they chronicle this kid's move from Japan to Hawaii, which ostensibly mirrors the S/M protagonist who moves from Kanto to Alola. In this latest/final trailer, however, we see said kid move back from Hawaii to Japan.

So... like... if that's not 100% solid concrete irrefutable inarguable unassailable undeniable unquestionable proof to you then maybe your standards are just way too high. Enjoy being unreasonable, you goddamned buzzkill.

they didnt need to fly much due to lack of mammalian predators, but once humans settled on the islands they died out due to deforestation and influx of rats

 

I still hope the next game is back in Kanto but with a different storyline some time in the future.

 

This will be one of the few generations where I'll be choosing the grass starter. I think Snivy was the only other exception

I've had this for a couple of weeks actually! I found it along with a grass and fire version but this was the easiest to read the actual time.

I've played through with all the starters, don't think there's any clear cut choices. Not really fond of most grass starters, but I'm poised to go with Rowlett this time around.
